Socks Checker
- upon connection to any ozorg IRC server your ip address will receive a probe on the socks port. this is not an 'attack' of any sort, but is actually a security measure to protect both your servers and ours
- if this probe detects an insecure proxy at your ip address, your ip address will be g-lined
- if you have been g-lined due to insecure relay, refer the matter to your systems administrator. alternatively, refer to your manual that came with your proxy software and configure the proxy to be 'closed' or secure
- once your host has been secured, email ozorg at the link below and ask for the g-line to be lifted
